WhidbeyNET Wi-Fi News and UpdatesJuly 2004 We have installed an access point in the Langley Marina for visitors to the harbor area. It may be beneficial to have an extended range Wi-Fi adapter and even an accessory antenna for best performance of this hotspot. Internal Wi-Fi adapters and low-output Wi-Fi adapters will work with the access point, but may not provide the desired access quality at extended distances from the access point's antenna. May 2004 We have updated the operating system software on our Access Points. We are expecting even better and more stable performance from our Wi-Fi hardware. To help us best serve our customer base, we would like to hear your feedback regarding your experiences using our equipment.
